Transactions made in Jan 2018:
- Sold 500 OCBC shares at $12.58
- Bought 600 Keppel Corp shares at $8.45

Although I do not have many OCBC shares, I decided to take some profit as its price had rose way above its NAV. Ironically, OCBC rose up to $12.9 two days after I made the decision to take some profit.

As for Keppel Corp, I increased my stake when its price dropped the day after it released its Q4 results. Although Keppel Corp reported a S$495 million loss in the fourth quarter, this was mainly due to provisions for the financial penalty and additional provisions for losses made to its Sete Brasil rig-building projects. While the oil and gas industry recovery is likely to be slow, I believe the demand will continue to rise despite there being other energy sources.

Dividends received* in Jan 2018: $547.81 (
CapitaLand Commercial Trust, Mapletree Commercial Trust, Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust, Keppel DC Reit)

Total dividends received since 2018: $547.81

Average dividends per month: $45.65

Total Portfolio Market Value: $149,921

* Dividends are recognised after ex-dividend (xd) date
# Excludes investments in Cryptocurrency since it is of high risk and with an investment fund which I am prepared to write off.

  1. Hi MIM,

Congrats on locking profit for OCBC. I’ve always wanted to have some banking stocks in my portfolio where I’ll be holding onto them forever. But it seems like all the banks are rushing towards their highs now!!
