This month was a relatively busy month for me. I cannot even remember when was the last time I made so many transactions in a month. Transactions made in Feb 2018:
- Sold 2000 Hyflux shares at $0.32
- Received 200 Hyflux Shop shares
- Sold 5200 IREIT Global shares at $0.78
- Bought 1500 Ascendas Reit shares at $2.57

I need to mention that specifically for Hyflux, I sold it at a loss of 67.2%! I had bought it in 2013 when it was $1.16. Ouch. What a painful lesson!

Dividends received* in Feb 2018: $104 (Singapore Post, Jumbo Group)

Total dividends received since 2018: $687.47

Average dividends per month: $57.29

Total Portfolio Market Value: $144,715

* Dividends are recognised after ex-dividend (xd) date
# Excludes investments in Cryptocurrency since it is of high risk and with an investment fund which I am prepared to write off.

  1. Hi MIM

    Looking great there.

How come your average dividends per month is so low given your total market portfolio is close to $145k?

    1. Hi B,

I believe, the calculation is done based on the latest dividend received / 12 months. Hence, over the coming months, the dividends/mth will increase.

      Hi MIM,

I still love your portfolio heheheheh

    2. Hi B

Sleepdevil is correct, I just divide it by 12 straight away as I am lazy to change the formuale every month. haha!

  2. Hi MIM,
Great , a well diversify portfolio !! , as for the case of Hyflux ,,as usual, in any investment , sometime we win , sometime we lose ...so long as you have a well diversify portfolio , it should be ok in the long run.
    Cheers !!

    1. Hi STE

Thank you! I am learning from you and the many gurus out there. Yes, this is a norm. I will continue to build up a diversified portfolio!

  3. Hi MIM,

Good portfolio that you have here.

I got Hyflux just above $2 and sold it at $1.175 in 2013. After the dividends and bonus shares, a loss of 25%. One of my few "sells", as I mainly buy and hold. I am not a good seller. Haha.

    Cheers,
    Farmer.
