My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Sep 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

No transactions were made.

My total portfolio market value slipped from $598,051.35 at the end of August to $579,339.26, a drop of $18,712.09 (-3.1%). I did not buy or sell anything this month, so this is purely price movement. Last month's $598k is still the highest month-end value I have recorded. The $600,000 mark is now about $20,661 (3.6%) away.

September is a busy REIT month, and it was the third highest dividend month of 2026. It came in behind May ($5,704.40) and March ($4,568.70, which beat September by just $1.18).

I have collected $23,140.50 so far, just $85.32 short of the whole of 2025 ($23,225.82). That is 15.0% more than the same nine months of 2025 ($20,124.26). I will likely surpass last year's total dividends collected in the month of November as it is unlikely that I will collect any dividends on October.

Compared with the end of 2025 ($536,301.12), the portfolio is up $43,038.14 (+8.0%). Roughly $15k of that came from net purchases this year, so about $28k is market gains.

Dividends received* during the month: $4,567.52 (Wilmar, Sembcorp, MIT, Ascendas, CapitaChina, Keppel Reit, Mapletree PanAsia Com Trust, MLT, CapLand IntCom Trust, Keppel DC Reit)

Total dividends received in 2026: $23,140.50

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Aug 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

Transactions made:

- Sold 2,500 units of Cent Accom REIT at $1.16
- Bought 200 units of UOB at $42.1

Centurion Accommodation Reit is a stock that I wanted to sell off since its IPO as I had received too small an allocation during IPO. It did not make sense for me to monitor this stock considering the allocation and  I am not familiar with this industry and its prospects. With AI and Humanoid Robots, how would this industry be affected, I was not too sure too. It was either I added more post IPO or I sell the entire allotment. I decided to sell it.

I have been waiting to have all 3 local bank stocks for the longest time. This time as UOB stock has the lowest valuation and I have some faith that our local banks including UOB will still continue to do well, I decided to nibble on it so that I have a small portion of UOB in my portfolio. While I admit that its valuation looks relatively high, this is just a nibble and I am prepared to buy more should it go down or the market crash.

I am also glad that I managed to continue to add fundamentally sound stocks into my portfolio. My last purchase was in May. So it has been a good 3 months.

Frankly, I am excited to see how this portfolio will be at the end of this year and more importantly, at the end of 10 to 20 years from now? Will it be resilient enough to weather the market downturns and the future trends? Will I be nimble enough to quickly make decisions and act on them?

Only time will tell.

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Jul 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

No Transactions were made.

July was a relatively quiet month, awaiting the main earnings reporting season and interim payout announcements coming up in August. I have a sell GTD order for Centurion Accommodation Reit at $1.16 as I would like to trim down my holding.

My unrealised gain has creep up to 30%, which is an increase of 5% compared to last month.

My portfolio continues to be anchored by Singapore blue chips, with the banking sector remaining my largest contributor. DBS and OCBC continue to form a strong foundation, while Keppel, ST Engineering and my REIT holdings provide diversification across infrastructure, industrial, commercial and logistics sectors.

August is set to be a key month as major REITs and local banks announce their interim dividends.

Dividends received* during the month: $180.42 (Astrea8A1 4.35%, Astrea8A2 6.35%)

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Jun 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

No transactions were made in the month of June. I spent nearly half the month overseas then coming back and catching up on work.

Interestingly, I am sitting on a paper gain of 25%. I wonder will there be a day when this entire paper gain is wiped out. It is ironic how I have mixed feelings on this. IYKYK.

Meanwhile, Ascendas Reit, Singtel, Capitaland Investment and Raffles Medical prices look attractive at its current prices. I may nibble on them in the coming months.

Dividends received* during the month: $2,133.71 (CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, Mapletree Industrial Trust, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust, Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust, Mapletree Logistic Trust, ST Engineering)

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End May 2026) - New Milestone!

Source: StocksCafe

Transactions made:

- Added 2,500 units of CapitaLand Invest at $2.63
- Added 744 units of Keppel Reit (1 bonus Keppel Reit for every 9 Keppel Ltd)

Added CapitaLand Invest when it went into XD. While CapitaLand Invest is meant to be a long term one, if it make sense to trade it, I will do so since it pays out dividends once a year.

Also added 744 units of Keppel Reit due to my current holdings in Keppel Ltd. This is the second time Keppel Ltd is doing so.. I am not a fan of Keppel Reit and I do not like how I keep receiving odd units in Keppel Reit. I hope Keppel Ltd can stop this as I now need to find opportunity to round up Keppel Reit and sell it off.

In terms of milestone, I have collected dividends amount of at least $5,000 in a month, in the month of May. Have collected $5.7k in May =). Bearing unforeseen circumstances, I will collected at least $5,000 in August too. Fingers crossed. I have come a long way since I started investing since 2011 and it is important for me to track such milestones.

Dividends received* during the month: $5,704.4 (OCBC Bank. Keppel Ltd, ST Engineering, ComfortDelGro, Wilmar, CapitaLand Invest, Sembcorp Ind, DBS, Raffles Medical, Astrea 7A1)

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Apr 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

No transactions were made.

Although I took part in Ascendas Reit Preferential Offering and had applied for excess, I decided to allocate the units to my spouse and children instead.

My top two holdings has swapped positions once again compared to last month. Portfolio value has dropped slightly compared to last month.

Trump has paused the war for now as expected. We can expect more volatile from him as per always. Meanwhile, the Fed Bank side is also interesting since they are taking the decision whether to maintain, cut or increase rates on a per meeting basis. There are more dissent compared to previous meetings. These developments will add more uncertainly. Meanwhile, I am still waiting patiently, may be too patient.

Dividends received* during the month: $1,489.61 (DBS, Ascendas Reit)

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Mar 2026)

Source: StocksCafe

No transactions where made in the month.

Due to Trump's decision to attack Iran, my Total Portfolio Market Value dipped to January 2026 level. The Fear and Greed Index had also went into extreme fear in the month of Mar due to the escalation of events in Middle East.

I had wanted to dip into the market but decided to hold off my purchase with the upcoming acquisition and preferential offering by Ascendas Reit. I will likely apply for excess units during this preferential offering.

I have been looking forward to a bumper dividends this year, but I guess Trump has other plans. Even if Trump TACO (Trump Always Chicken Out) and stop the attack, claiming to have achieved the goals set out, we will still continue to face the effects of the attack. The shipments had been disrupted, tankers had been destroyed or damaged, infrastructure had been destroyed. All of these take time to repair and reinstate, some could take months while others would take years.

With the USA mid-term elections coming up, I do believe that a strong signal will be sent to Trump, showing voters' dissent. All of these will result in more uncertainly, more government shutdowns, maybe even impeachments again.

As always even in such uncertain times, crisis can be turned into opportunities. Staying invested in fundamentally sounded stocks is a key. Buying the dip in batches may be ideal too.

Dividends received* during the month: $4,568.7 (Mapletree Logistic Trust, Mapletree Industrial Trust, Mapletree PanAsia Com Tr. Ascendas REIT, Keppel DC Reit, CapLand IntCom Trust, Keppel Reit, CapitaChina Trust, IREIT, Cent Accom REIT)

No transactions were made in the month.

Although there had been no new transactions made for both DBS and Keppel since April 2024, Keppel has overtook DBS in terms of current value and is now my top holding. Keppel has in fact more than double in value as I purchased it at an average price of $5.78.

Meanwhile, I have been storing my warchest waiting for correction to come to deploy my warchest.

I either have to be more patient or I have to take deliberate action to nibble the market bit by bit.

Transactions:
- Added 3,260 units of Keppel Reit from its preferential offering at $0.96

With Keppel Reit preferential offering, I took the opportunity to round up my holding it in and increase the number of units I have so that I can sell it in the near future.

Meanwhile I am still enjoying the ride up as STI and our local banks keep breaking their own respective all time highs. Also, watching out for individual stock prices to nibble on them conservatively as I stay vested yet have my warchest ready for any correction or downturn.

No transactions were made in December as I was overseas.

Came back to news of the Keppel Reit preferential offering. I have yet to digest this piece of news. Fortunately, I have until 9 Jan to make a decision and purchase to it if required.

Meanwhile, I am glad that the portfolio has been rock solid this year. The portfolio value and dividends has been increasing steadily.

2025 Year End Review & Dividends - more than $20k dividends per year

In 2025, I found myself swamped by both family and work commitments. It meant that I had less time to focus on stock investing. Fortunately this portfolio allowed me to hands off and it auto-piloted even when I was swamped at work and could not keep up with finance news for 3 weeks, or when I was overseas with my family.

My portfolio is in the green, with an unrealised gain of 21% of my portfolio cost. Nothing to shout about as some other investors are at a way higher percentage. We all have different starting point, different journey and different risk appetite. I am happy where I am. Just wondering if the market will turn in 2026 and the portfolio turns red, which will be a sign for me to use my warchest.

Click on image to enlarge. Some stats are from StocksCafe

For the year of 2025, I have collected $23,225.82 of cash dividends (or $1,935.45 per month), just a 18.7% increase from last year. I am so happy to have break the milestone of $20,000 dividends per year.

In terms of total dividends collected since I started this journey, I have collected $120,841.67.

This year I made a total of 10 transactions. Most of the buy transactions were scrip, preferential offering and IPO transactions The only sell transaction was for Lendlease Reit as I needed to cut down the number of stocks I am monitoring after having balloted for Cent Accom REIT IPO and Astrea9A2 5.7%400808# IPO respectively. Also, Lendlease Reit has been underperforming. I will probably need to sell some stocks in the next year as I currently have 27 stocks to monitor.

As always, this update is for my personal portfolio and it excludes Singapore Savings Bonds, T-bills and Foreign Stocks.

Merry Christmas! Wishing you a joyful Christmas and a successful New Year ahead!

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Nov 2025)

Source: StockCafe

No transactions were made in November.

Glad to receive dividends once again in the month of November. Thanks to DBS, their dividends payout has helped to mitigate the drop in dividends from reits such as MIT and MLT.

Meanwhile, the market has priced in a rate cut for 12 December 2025 meeting, to 350-375. Let see if that really happens. Meanwhile, I have been calculating my tax payable for IRAS Income Tax, Year of Assessment for 2026. Have done cash top-up to my CPF MA account as an amount has been deducted for medisave. I will also be making contributions into my Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) account to lower the tax payable. This is your sign to start calculating yours now if you have not done so.

Source: StocksCafe

Transactions:

- Added 5,000 units of Keppel DC Reit at $2.24 via Preferential Offering.
- Sold 5,800 units of Lendlease Reit at $0.65

Mapletree Industrial Trust which was previously my top holding in April 2025, was overtaken by DBS in May 2025. In the month of October it was overtaken by both Keppel Ltd and Keppel DC Reit too. The stock price of Keppel Ltd has been climbing up in recent months.

I am very happy to be allotted quite abit of my excess bid for Keppel DC Reit recent Preferential Offering. Resulting in it climbing up to become my third biggest holding. Meanwhile, I have also decided to sell of Lendlease Reit which has not been underperforming. I need to trim down my number of stocks as it has creeped up a fair bit and it is hard to monitor so many holdings.

I did not receive any dividends in the month of October, I am expecting a bumper dividends in December.  Hopefully it comes true.

Meanwhile, my warchest is ready and I am waiting for the US Government to restart operations and provide the economic data. Am ready to buy the dip!

My Investment Portfolio - SG (End Sep 2025) - new milestones!

Realised that I missed out updating my portfolio for end of August. Hence, this post consist of the transactions and dividends received in August and September 2025.

From: StocksCafe

Transactions:

- Allotted 5,000 units of Astrea9A2 5.7%400808 (USD) through the IPO in Aug 2025.
- Bought 2,000 units of Sembcorp Ind in Sep 2025.
- Added 150 units of Lendlease Reit at $0.5323 via Scrip Dividends
- Allotted 2,500 units of Centurion Accommodation Reit at $0.88 through IPO in Sep 2025.

In the past two months, I participated in two IPOs namely the Astrea9A2 and Centurion Accommodation Reit. What was partciularly disappointing was the amount of units allotted for the reit. I balloted for 50,000 units and while I knew that the allotted number of units will be low, I did not expect 2,500 units.

I have also just realised that I have crossed two significant milestones. The first milestone is that my personal portfolio value has crossed the half a million mark (i.e. crossed $500,000). I am sitting on a unrealised gain of around $70,000, which means all I need is some negative news and the market turn and I will be below this milestone.

The second milestone is that I have collected more than $100,000 of dividends since I started this journey in 2011. In fact, I have collected $117,000 of dividends as of end September 2025. Bearing unforeseen circumstances, I will collect around $120,000 of dividends by end 2025 (unless there are many scrip dividends scheme).

It has been a long journey, a slow but rewarding one. I will need to stay grounded because all I need is for the market to turn the tide and I will below the half a million portfolio value again. This is a given and not a matter of if but when.

Dividends received* during the month: $7,380.53 (CapLand Ascott Trust, Wilmar, Comfortdelgro, IREIT, DBS, OCBC, Keppel, Singtel, CapitaChina, Lendlease Reit, Keppel Reit, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, Keppel DC Reit, Mapletree Com, MLT, ST Engineering, MIT, Ascendas Reit)

Transactions:

- Bought 2,000 units of Mapletree Industrial Trust at $1.99

Despite all the uncertainties, the market including STI has advanced forward rapidly. My portfolio crossed $450k mark, which is a surprise. While Reits did not advance much, the other stocks such as Keppel, DBS, OCBC, ST Eng, Singtel did well. Way better than what I had expected. This is especially so for ST Eng. Meanwhile, my warchest has been replenished and I need to practice being patient and prudent.

No transactions were made in this portfolio. I did made some transactions in my SRS through. My first SRS purchase and I bought 5,200 units of Wilmar.

The stock market whether our local or foreign ones are all doing very well at the moment. It has been interesting how the respective markets have reacted, brushing aside the tariffs impact. Even the US Federal Bank have come clean to state that they do not know the impact of the tariffs. Ironically while President Trump wants rate cuts, his well known negotiating skills where he keep all other parties guessing is what is causing the rate cuts not to happen.

In the meantime, I can only continue to monitor the market. It is very tempting though to dip into the market as I have quite a fair bit of cash yet to be deployed. This is really a huge test of my patience.

No transactions were made in the past 2 months.

I have had buy transactions for Ascendas Reit in March, but its price went up before the orders got fulfilled. What a missed opportunity as its price, along with Reits generally have gone up. This is life, you will miss all kinds of opportunities.

Meanwhile, I will continue to keep a look out. Though with the volume amount of work coming in, it is really hard to juggle and find time to look at stock prices or even read the price alerts that I had set. I am quite certain that the next month is going to be even more hectic.

I am just watching and reminding myself to be patient. Reits like MIT are so attractive once again, but with interest rate not coming down and the fact that MIT is already my biggest portfolio, I am mindful of purchasing it. Maybe in the month of Feb, my fingers will be itchy and I will give in to temptation.
