2025 Year End Review & Dividends - more than $20k dividends per year

In 2025, I found myself swamped by both family and work commitments. It meant that I had less time to focus on stock investing. Fortunately this portfolio allowed me to hands off and it auto-piloted even when I was swamped at work and could not keep up with finance news for 3 weeks, or when I was overseas with my family.

My portfolio is in the green, with an unrealised gain of 21% of my portfolio cost. Nothing to shout about as some other investors are at a way higher percentage. We all have different starting point, different journey and different risk appetite. I am happy where I am. Just wondering if the market will turn in 2026 and the portfolio turns red, which will be a sign for me to use my warchest.

For the year of 2025, I have collected $23,225.82 of cash dividends (or $1,935.45 per month), just a 18.7% increase from last year. I am so happy to have break the milestone of $20,000 dividends per year.

In terms of total dividends collected since I started this journey, I have collected $120,841.67

This year I made a total of 10 transactions. Most of the buy transactions were scrip, preferential offering and IPO transactions The only sell transaction was for Lendlease Reit as I needed to cut down the number of stocks I am monitoring after having balloted for Cent Accom REIT IPO and Astrea9A2 5.7%400808# IPO respectively. Also, Lendlease Reit has been underperforming. I will probably need to sell some stocks in the next year as I currently have 27 stocks to monitor.

As always, this update is for my personal portfolio and it excludes Singapore Savings Bonds, T-bills and Foreign Stocks.

Merry Christmas! Wishing you a joyful Christmas and a successful New Year ahead!
